    MyHarvst is an app marketplace that connects people looking to buy, sell, trade or give away local food directly from community gardeners and farmers. It is a simple way to access fresh, homegrown food while supporting local growers.
  • Setting up your profile.
    A complete profile builds trust with buyers and sellers. Add a profile picture, location and short bio to introduce yourself. Sellers should also include their farm/garden details if applicable.
  • How to create an account
    To create an account, download the MyHarvst app on the Apple store or visit our website and click "Download App." Enter your name, email, password and answer the questions prompted. You will receive an email confirming your account.
  • Understanding the MyHarvst dashboard
    Your dashboard is where you manage everything - listings, messages, orders and settings. From here, you can view active listings, track posts, purchases and update your profile.
  • How to contact a seller
    Once you find an item you like, click "Ask" to ask questions or arrange a purchase. You can also click "Make Offer" to make a price offer on the product. Clear communication ensures a smooth transaction.
  • How to make a purchase
    After discussing details with the seller, you can discuss finalization of product price and meet up place. MyHarvst currently does not provide a payment method and is not part of the sale of your transaction. Payment method can vary depending on what the seller accepts.
  • Understanding Payment Methods
    Seller can choose to accept cash, peer-to-peer payment apps (i.e. Venmo, PayPal, Zelle) or other digital payment methods. Always confirm payment details with seller before completing a transaction.
  • How to list an item for sale
    Go to your main dashboard, click "Post" at bottom of the app. Click "Add a post," upload a photo, follow next and input a title, description, price and choose a category of herb, flower, vegetables and/or fruits. Be as detailed as possible in description to be clear and attract buyers.
  • Best practices for listing your products
    Use high-quality photos, provide accurate descriptions and highlight any unique features (e.g. organic, pesticide-free, etc.) Keeping your listing updated ensures better visibility.
  • How to set up fair prices
    Research similar listings in you area to determine a fair price. Consider factors like size, quality and demand for your product.
  • Managing your listings (edit, pause or delete)
    You can edit details, pause listings if you're temporarily out of stock or delete items that are no longer available from your seller dashboard.
  • How to communicate with buyers
    Respond promptly to messages, be transparent about product availability and confirm pickup or delivery details before finalizing a sale.
  • MyHarvst community guidelines
    All users must follow our guidelines to maintain a safe marketplace. This includes honest listings, respectful communication and fair transactions. For more details, please refer to our Terms & Conditions page.
  • What items are prohibited on MyHarvst
    You cannot sell, offer or solicit anything that violates our prohibited items such as adult and mature content, alcohol drugs tobacco, animals, counterfeit items, dangerous items, sale of homemade prepared foods like perishable goods like meat, seafood, dairy, homemade self products, homemade meals or baked goods, hazardous materials, illegal items or encouraging illegal activity, marijuana, medical and healthcare items, misleading claims, offensive materials, recalls and product warnings, advertisement and intangible items and wildlife and wildlife products.   • How to verify sellers and buyers
    Check profile details and reviews. If something feels off, ask questions before making a transaction.
  • Safe payment methods to use
    Avoid risky payment methods like wire transfers. Use cash for in-person transactions or secure digital payment apps.
  • How to report a scam or suspicious activity
    If you suspect fraudulent behavior, report the user through the MyHarvst app or email hello@myharvst.com. We take safety seriously and will review all reports.
  • Accepted payment methods
    Each seller chooses their preferred payment method. MyHarvst currently has no payment method to provide to buyer and seller. Common options for buyers and sellers include cash, Venmo, Zelle or other peer-to-peer payment platforms.
  • How to set up preferred payment option
    Seller can list their accepted payment method in their description on each product listing.
  • How to request a refund or dispute a transaction
    If you receive an item thats not as described, resolve it directly with the seller. MyHarvst does not provide refund and dispute support or assistance with the private transaction between buyer and seller.
  • How to reset your password
    Click "Forgot Password?" on the login screen and follow the steps to reset it via email.
  • How to update your profile details
    Go to your profile settings to changing your name, contact details or profile details at any time.
  • How to delete your account
    You can permanently delete it by going to your account settings and select "Delete Account."
  • Why can't I log in
    Check that your email and password are correct. If you're locked out, reset your password or contact support for help.
  • How to fix listing errors
    If your listing isn't appearing correctly, try refreshing the page or ensure all required fields are filled out. After it is posted, you can go to My Listings, choose your listing and click edit.
